Ginger Soup

Went for my HSG test yesterday came back make the ginger soup my mom taught me to help relief the wind in my stomach. Took it as dinner. In fact I really love this soup only thing is its a bit on the heaty side so cannot take so often. But I must say its a very good remedy for relieving wind in the stomach. :)

Here's the recipe:

Ingredients:

Ginger finely shred (size about 1-1.5 inch)
some slice pork (marinate with light soya sauce, dash of pepper, sesame oil & some corn flour)
3-4tbsp sesame oil
2-2.5 cup of water
1/2tsp salt
1tsp light soya sauce for extra flavouring (optional)

Method:

1. Heat up the sesame oil and add in the ginger and stir fry till fragrant and the ginger start to turn slightly brownish.
2. Add in the pork (hich have been marinated 5min) and stir fry for 2min.
3. Add in water and let it boil and add in salt to taste. Let it boil for another 2-5min and its ready to serve.
4. You can add in the light soya sauce just 1 minute before you turn off the heat & serve.
